Our Lounges:
The Back Room
Inspired by one of New York’s last surviving Prohibition-era speakeasies, The Back Room is Kingfisher’s most private space. Its namesake once hosted the likes of Bugsy Siegel, Lucky Luciano and Meyer Lansky, hidden behind an unmarked entrance on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
Ours carries that same spirit of secrecy and exclusivity. Fully private, entirely yours and made for nights best kept between those in the room. What happens in The Back Room stays in The Back Room.
The Conservatory.
Set alongside the hanging garden that runs through Kingfisher, The Conservatory is a little pocket of greenery among the venue’s dark timbers and leather.
Traditionally, the conservatory was somewhere to retreat from the formality of the main rooms — a place to relax, linger and enjoy yourself. We like that idea. Come in, settle down and throw a few darts. The plants don’t mind how well you play.
Prohibition 1, 2 & 3.
Named after the Prohibition era, these three rooms celebrate a time when banning the bar only made people more determined to find one. Speakeasies flourished, cocktail culture evolved and a little rule-breaking became part of a good night out.
Rooms One, Two and Three carry that same sense of slightly heightened stakes. You’re here. You’re throwing. You’re having a wonderful time. Just don’t give the house too much reason to revoke the arrangement.
The Bowery 1 & 2.
Named after one of New York City’s oldest and most storied streets, The Bowery has spent centuries reinventing itself — from saloons, dance halls and gambling dens to artists, galleries and some of Manhattan’s best bars.
Kingfisher’s two Bowery lounges sit back-to-back, carrying a little of that same energy. Come for a throw. Stay for a drink. Stay for another. The Bowery always has room for one more.
Bones & Honey.
A nod to the mysterious members-only club from Ted Lasso, Bones & Honey is a pair of adjoining dart lounges made for nights that get more interesting as they go.
Something raw and something sweet. Competitive, warm and slightly unpredictable. Fans will recognise the reference the moment they walk in. Everyone else should get the idea by the second drink.
The Gallery.
The Gallery takes its name from the artwork hanging above it: an oil painting of an Azure Kingfisher by Tasmanian artist Averill Lawler, created from a photograph taken by Dean L. Hohn on the Forth River on Tasmania’s wild North-West Coast.
It captures the bird that inspired our name and gives it a permanent home within Kingfisher — watching over a room built for good drinks, good company and a few competitive throws. The Kingfisher was here before the venue. In The Gallery, it will always have a home.
